A BMW 3 Series Convertible combines saloon car practicality with wind-in-the-hair thrills, the three-panel foldaway metal roof providing all-weather protection and improved security compared to conventional soft-tops.
The 3 Series Convertible comes with a number of engine options. Petrol models include the 320i, 325i, 330i and the powerful 306bhp 335i with twin turbo, and diesels include the spritely, fuel-efficient 320d, 325d and the top-of-the-range 242bhp 330d. The EfficientDynamics models add automatic stop/start to improve economy and reduce emissions, while all models enjoy BMW's famed grip and exhilarating handling.
There are also four levels of trim: SE, Sport, Luxury and M Sport. The standard 3 Series Convertible gives you alloys, electric adjustable seats, climate control and MP3 compatibility. The Sport adds more muscular styling, bucket seats and bigger alloys, the Luxury offers leather upholstery and wood trim, and the range-topping M Sport adds a more aggressive body kit and exclusive badged accessories.
The 3 Series Convertible is based on the coupe rather than the standard 3 Series saloon, which means there's only seating for four, and stowing the impressive folding roof will mean sacrificing almost all of the boot space so be prepared to travel light.
