The Citroen C4 Grand Picasso was released in 2006 to replace the Xsara Picasso. It shared the same platform with the C4 Picasso. In the second generation, released in 2013, Citroen changed the name to the Grand C4 Picasso. In 2018, Citroen decided to rename it once again, to the Grand C4 SpaceTourer, making it a brand-new model, so the only options available today are on the used market.

Second Generation (2013 to 2023)
Both the C4 Grand Picasso and the smaller C4 Picasso were redesigned in 2013 for a new generation. A gap was created between the front bumper and the bonnet so that two chrome slats could be installed. LED daytime running lights were also added. A digital instrument panel was added to the dashboard, along with an updated infotainment system.
With a 2016 update, the Grand C4 Picasso earned better efficiency ratings and offered a smoother drive. Safety and tech features were also revised to ensure that the MPV remained up to date.
