Hartwell Plc is a new and used car dealer group, representing a number of renowned marques and operating from over ten locations across the UK. Many of Hartwell’s branches are multi-franchise, which means they stock new and used vehicles from a range of brands. Hartwell dealerships can be found in counties such as Oxfordshire, Somerset, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Lincolnshire.
Across its sites, the company provides customers with car financing, aftersales and part exchanges and a 30-day exchange period on used vehicle purchases. Hartwell also runs a Motability service for disabled drivers.
The history of Hartwell
The Hartwell name dates back to 1919 when the company was first established in Oxfordshire. Since its inception, the dealer has expanded and grown steadily, taking on various new franchises and locations.
Today, the group operates 27 franchised dealerships across southern England. Above all, Hartwell remains loyal to its founding principle of delivering excellent customer service – something which is reflected in the ten consumer promises laid out under the company’s own ‘Hartwell Commitment’.
Types of car sold by Hartwell
Numerous manufacturers are represented at Hartwell dealerships, including Citroen, Dacia, Fiat, Ford, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Renault and SEAT. New and used vehicles from these brands are for sale at Hartwell sites around the country. Hartwell dealerships stock many popular models such as the Ford Fiesta, the family-friendly Renault Kadjar and the compact Peugeot 308 GTi.
Used cars from other brands, like Audi, BMW, Nissan and Volvo, are also on offer at Hartwell dealers. Test drives are also available. In addition to that, the business stocks new vans from Peugeot, including the Bipper, Partner and Expert models, amongst others.
