The history of Hughes Group
Company founder Michael Hughes established the Hughes Group in 1955. Originally, the company consisted of one outlet, Hughes of Beaconsfield, and employed just three members of staff.
Today, the business employs over 300 people and has grown from one single site to three large showrooms across the Buckinghamshire region. In 2017, the company was ranked 94th in AM Online’s 100 largest UK automotive retail groups by turnover.
