Fiat enjoyed a great deal of success after launching the 500 in 2007, so the company decided to spin off other variants of that model, including the 500C convertible in 2009 and the 500L MPV in 2013. Following those was the 500X crossover, released in 2015. With its urban style, it was meant to compete against the Renault Captur and Nissan Juke. While still in its first generation, updates have been made to ensure that the technology remains up to date and the style is consistently refreshed.
