The Ford Fiesta supermini was launched in 1976. In each generation, the fastest hot-hatch versions have been badged XR, RS, Si or Zetec and since 2002, the ST.
The 2005 Fiesta ST version, for example, has a 2L petrol engine and a top speed of 129mph. This ST has sporty features like body stripes over the centre of the car, big alloy wheels and additional aerodynamic body kits.
The new generation ST arrived in 2013. This time it is equipped with a 1.6L twin-camshaft turbocharged petrol engine. This allows it to reach a top speed of 137mph and do the benchmark 0-60mph sprint in just seven seconds.
Like all Fiestas, it's a front-wheel drive hatchback with all the practicality of other members of the Fiesta family - but it has been given a racing make-over too.
The muscular exterior gets more aggressive looks to match its performance. This means a deeper front bumper, rear spoiler and diffuser, twin exhausts and 17-inch alloys. The suspension is lowered and stiffened to help make the handling sharper.
Inside the ST, the cockpit includes Recaro bucket seats, chrome gauges, a Sony CD player and even coloured courtesy lights.
