The Ford Focus ST is the latest in a celebrated line of sports hatches extending back to the original XR3, combining thrilling performance and everyday practicality at affordable prices.
The latest Ford Focus ST comes with a choice of 2.0L turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, generating 247bhp and 182bhp respectively, replacing the thirsty 2.5L unit from the previous generation. Handling remains among the best in its class, with a new torque vectoring system and stability control to ensure all that extra power doesn't go to waste.
The new Ford Focus ST is available in five-door hatch and estate versions, making it one of the most practical hot hatches out there. There's a choice of trims from ST-1 to ST-3, with all benefiting from figure-hugging Recaro seats and carbon fibre trim, with the ST-2adding half-leather upholstery and climate control and the ST-3 coming with full leather and a touchscreen infotainment system. There's ample room for four adults, as the sculpted design of the Recaro rear bench isn't ideal for a fifth passenger. The Ford Focus ST is also one of the safest cars in its class with a maximum five-star rating from Euro NCAP.
