Whilst not as popular as its rival cars from the premium German manufacturers of Audi and BMW, the Jaguar X-Type still offers some desirable features. If you prefer the traditional look of older Jaguars, then you'll likely find the X-Type a handsome car. It also has a luxury look and appeal to it, with a comfortable and refined interior as previously mentioned. If you can find a well-looked after model then the X-Type can certainly be a good car to own. However, it is important to choose wisely when buying a second-hand Jaguar X-Type (see below).

Whilst the Jaguar X-Type is good to drive and very affordable to buy, it is known to have reliability issues. You can also find older models for as little as £400 as well, although it's worth noting these cars are often for 'spares or repair.'
