The Jaguar XF was revealed in 2007 as a replacement for the S-Type. An estate version was released in 2012, known as the XF Sportbrake, at the same time that the XFR flagship model was introduced. Now in its second generation, the Jaguar XF continues to remain at the forefront of technology and resembles the same basic design as the original.

Second Generation (2015 to 2020)
Slightly larger than the previous generation, the XF has more rear legroom. With its updated aluminium body, the newer XF also became lighter. Jaguar released a manual gearbox for added driver engagement, but there was no V8 version. Instead, Jaguar offered a rare version with a 375bhp supercharged 3.0-litre V6 to supply power.
Aside from that variant, there have been other options, ranging from a diesel to an efficient four-cylinder. Later in the generation, a mild-hybrid diesel was also released. Since its introduction, the XF has continued to gain more technology, year after year, including the Pivi Pro 11.4-inch touchscreen.
