Combining the popularity of smaller SUVs with an electric powertrain, Mercedes-Benz introduced the EQA in 2021. It has the same basic shape and platform as the popular GLA, but it doesn't have a traditional front grille and the headlights were inspired by the EQC. A refresh was provided with the 2024 lineup, showcasing a new front panel and a horizontal LED bar stretching between the headlights. While the profile remained the same, the rear had new taillights installed.

Which are the most popular trim levels?
Mercedes-Benz makes the EQA in several trims: Sport Executive, AMG Line Executive, AMG Line Premium and AMG Line Premium Plus. While the Sport Executive is lower priced, many drivers prefer the AMG trims because of the upgraded exterior styling.
What optional extras should I look out for?

How quickly does the Mercedes-Benz EQA charge?
The EQA charges to 80% in approximately 35 minutes when using a rapid 100kW charger. On a full charge, the EQA can drive up to 346 all-electric miles.
Is the Mercedes-Benz EQA available as an automatic?
As an electric SUV, the Mercedes-Benz EQA only comes with an automatic gearbox.
Is there a four-wheel drive version available?
Yes, Mercedes-Benz offers some variants with 4MATIC technology, which is the all-wheel drive platform that utilises separate electric motors for each axle. This configuration allows for better traction and handling in slippery driving conditions, but there are also front-wheel drive models available.
