The current version of the S Class Coupe was launched in 2014. It's a luxury two-door, high performance coupe that is available with the traditional sporty rear-wheel drive or modern extra-grip all-wheel drive.
The S Class is the pinnacle of Mercedes' range and is renowned for its comfort, refinement and sophistication. The S Class Coupe is no different: it provides a superfast and smooth way of getting from A to B.
It is available with three powerful and silky petrol engines: a 4.7L V8, twin-turbo 5.5L V8, and a 6.0L twin-turbo V12 in the range-topping S65 AMG. The smaller engine comes with a nine-speed automatic gearbox, the larger pair comes with an AMG seven-speed automatic. Fuel economy is surprisingly good despite all this power on tap.
Expect luxury details throughout: Swarovski crystals are set into the headlights and the Magic Sky sunroof turns dark at the touch of a button. An active curve system increases the occupants' comfort by automatically leaning the car into bends and the active suspension uses cameras to scan the road and adapt the suspension for any undulations or potholes.
