The Mini Coupe arrived on Britain's roads in 2011. It is another version of the new Mini but like the others, offered a new take on the premium small car brand.
It was quickly recognised as one of the sportiest cars in the whole Mini family - and that's saying something. The coupe is a version that is geared for driving enthusiasts. There are only two seats, two doors, and bags of handling prowess and performance magic. The Coupe has tons of grip and encourages you to corner enthusiastically - it's just great fun to drive.
The design looks purposeful from the outside while inside it retains the Mini's retro feel, with that huge central speedo, which adds a brilliant driving position. The seat comes with loads of adjustment so you get a perfect fit.
The cabin feels sporty and spacious too, the 280-litre boot is very big for a coupe. There's a large opening to load stuff into it and a small one to allow passengers to reach into the boot from the cockpit.
There are three petrol models with 1.6L engines and 2L diesel. Top of the range is the superfast John Cooper Works model.
