The Mini Hatch First is an entry level version of this hugely popular motor that offers value for money, retro-modern designs, a massive amount of personality and a very pleasing driving experience. What you get is something that's decently kitted out for a low end model, and that means appeal to families, people on budgets, and even new drivers will enjoy it a lot. Reliable, safe and actually quite practical for a small car, there's not much it can't do. Under the hood you'll find 1.4 and 1.6 litre engine that ensure fuel efficiency is right up there, but sprightliness isn't lacking at all.Yes the Mini Hatch First is a good looking car, but the great thing about this is one is that you don't have to pay a huge amount to get it. it's designed to be entry level, and that's where the appeal is. Gear and gadgets include the likes of steel wheels, CD stereo, electric windows and mirrors, material seats, airbags, traction control, and an alarm. The cabin is funky in design, and a pleasure to get into, and things like the large instruments on the dash are pleasing, it's roomy enough to fit kids or adults in the back and 160 litres of boot space expands with the rear seats down. To drive this car is like a go-kart, and really does make you smile; perky and nippy around town, it's just great. Pay £7,000 used.
