The Nissan Juke 2012 created quite stir when it was launched. The high-waisted styling, with curved haunches topped by shallow windows, made it an instantly-recognisable presence in the compact SUV market.
There are three Juke engines: a normally-aspirated or turbo-charged 1.6L petrol and an economical 110bhp 1.5L turbodiesel that can just about reach 60mpg. Although it looks like a sporty crossover, handling and ride are well aligned compared to the best of its rivals. Improved grip with the help of four-wheel-drive appears on the later DIG-T 190 and Nismo RS models.
There are three main trim levels, with the entry-level Visia boasting air-con, electric windows and alloys. The Acenta also has climate control, Bluetooth and aux connections, as well as their Dynamic Control System. The Tekna also provides leather upholstery and Nissan's Safety Shield parking camera system.
The Nissan Juke 2012's distinctive styling makes it stand out against other SUVs. There is plenty of room for the driver to get comfortable, and the front passenger can also enjoy the car's tranquil ride style. In the back, there is easily enough room for three adults and the boot space is of a convenient size.
