The Peugeot 207 Millesim is a middle of the road kind of trim, but one that's affordable, nicely equipped and solidly put together. A popular choice with those people who want something small that doesn't cost a huge amount to run, families will love it, and the availability in 3 or 5 door models means there's a definite practical and usable edge. Reliable, secure and recording good EuroNCAP safety scores, it's exactly the kind of hatchback you'd want to own, and engines take the form of 1.4 litre petrols, in addition to 1.4 and 1.6 litre diesels, so there's plenty of punch on offer.Absolutely a stylish, quirky and friendly car, the Peugeot 207 Millesim doesn't cause a huge fuss, but has plenty of confidence to know its well designed. You don't get a shouty hatchback, rather a cool and relaxed car that's comfortable inside and equipped with things like alloy wheels, CD system, air conditioning, cloth upholstered seats, front and rear airbags, electric windows, remote locking and also a 270 litre boot. Very usable on a daily basis, there's room in the back for kids to sit without issue. Take it out on the road and what you'll find is that the 207 can really go; it's agile and reactive in the corners, and performs admirably around town. A really great motor, you'll pay £7,000 used.
