The Peugeot 3008 Exclusive is one of those cars that just seem to be weird and wonderful. A superb family runabout, this typically French motor combines hatchback, people carrier and 4x4, so the end result is something that's roomy, spacious inside, very practical and able to take on all types of roads with no trouble. With a strong road presence and good all around visibility, it's solid to drive, very safe and reliable, and well kitted out being a mid level of spec. Engines range from 1.6 to 2.0 litre diesels and 1.6 litre petrols, so there's some go, but fuel economy figures are excellent.Definitely a superb amalgam, the Peugeot 3008 Exclusive really does look nice, and actually it features some wonderful curves and quite a muscular profile. The inside is spacious, bright and breezy, and both adults and kids can get in without trouble. The huge 512 litre boot keeps things very practical indeed. In terms of gear, you'll note climate control, alloys, cloth seats, CD stereo with media connectivity, full airbags, alarm, cruise and traction control, and much more. Basically it's got everything you'd want, and drive exceptionally well too. Quite responsive and sharp, it's easy to park and eats up motorway miles too. Expect to pay £10,000 used.
