Many of the changes with the third-generation Panamera weren't easy to recognise. The car still resembled a 911 with a larger size and four LED blocks for headlights. It fits perfectly with the design of the Cayenne and other Porsches. The only major exterior differences between this and the last generation are the unique headlights and updated bumper design.
Inside the cabin, many more updates were made. A fully digital driver display draws immediate attention. The company also upgraded the engine options, ensuring drivers can access increased power.

Second Generation (2016 to 2024)
Porsche wanted to build on the success of the first generation, so the company decided to change some small aspects of the styling to make it appeal to more people. The short bonnet and similar headlights to the 911 made it a top choice among enthusiasts who needed more interior space.
In 2020, Porsche released an updated variant of the Panamera with a redesigned bumper and rear light strip running over the boot lid. New LED taillights were also installed, but the three-piece retractable wing remained.

First Generation (2009 to 2016)
When the Panamera first arrived in 2009, it was seen as an extension of the 911 with more doors and interior space. The premium sports saloon looked similar to the Cayenne SUV with big vents that extracted air from the wheel area to decrease front lift. The cabin had a four-seat layout with plenty of support for passengers.
A 2013 update was released to deal with some issues found after the original unveiling. The most significant improvement was the replacement of the bi-xenon headlights with full LED lamps. The front and rear bumpers received a design refresh, while larger side scoops were installed.
