Even though SEAT had started designing its first SUV five years earlier, the Ateca didn't arrive until 2016. As a replacement for the Altea MPV, SEAT attempted to change with the times. Sharing a platform with the Volkswagen Tiguan and using much of the same technology, the Ateca instantly earned positive reviews from drivers.
