The Skoda Superb is a Czech-produced car to rival the best that Germany can offer, boasting a fine driving experience on top of reliability, space and an affordable price tag.
Among the many brands which make up the Volkswagen Group, Skoda has with the fastest growing reputation for quality and value and the Superb certainly lives up to its name as a long-distance motorway vehicle.
The Estate version offers 660 litres of cargo space in the boot, and a massive 1,950 litres with the seats folded flat providing plenty of room for passengers and belongings. This beats the space available in cars that are significantly larger and more expensive.
There have been three new generations of the Superb, in 2001, 2008 and 2015, with constant updates to the blueprint in between. Whatever version you choose, expect to be impressed by the luxurious ambience and solid feel you get while driving the car.
The layout is conventional enough; with petrol and diesel engines powering the front wheels. There's optional four-wheel drive, too, while the Superb is available in a range of trim levels - with the most luxurious model being badged a Laurin & Klement.
