Continuing with the cube design, the new Superb had a similar look to the Skoda Octavia, its smaller counterpart. Sharing a platform with the Volkswagen Golf and a number of other vehicles, the Superb was one of the largest models available. From the front, the wide grille with angular headlights were easy to see. There was also a second air intake added to the lower bumper for better cooling.
During a 2019 facelift, Skoda added full Matrix-LED headlights and an extended bumper for improved aerodynamics. There were also new tech features added, and there was more space in the boot and cabin.

Second Generation (2020 to 2023)
With the release of a new generation, Skoda used the Passat wheelbase, but the styling was completely different from before. Its twin-door boot opening was among the most talked about features, allowing for the opening of the luggage compartment without or with the back windscreen.
