Subaru have gained quite a reputation for making really practical and distinctive 4x4 cars, and the Forester XT is a great example of these. It's not just a great off-roader, it's also a very accomplished road car and the XT comes with an excellent specification.
There's the choice of a 2L petrol or a 2L diesel engine, and it's the latter that's considered to be the best option both for its 147bhp power and 48mpg fuel economy.

Cargo carrying is another strength, with 60:40 folding down seats. The wealth of standard features include cruise control, hill start assistance, headlamp washers, heated leather seats, a reversing camera, keyless entry and a Nav Plus satellite navigation system.
