Subaru Justy

The Subaru Justy is a small hatchback with a lot of plus points. it's cheap to run, reliable and actually rather large inside. Add to that a somewhat fun driving experience and a 5 year warranty and overall it sounds like the real deal in the mini family car market.

It was introduced in 1984, and a number of different generations can be seen; the transformation from generic box on wheels to stylish Japanese supermini has been stark, and well received. Available in 3 or 5 door hatchback models, there's a lot to like about the most modern models, and the sole 1.0 litre petrol engine is fun and lively.

Quite a funky little car, the Subaru looks like something you'd want to get into. It clearly has a lot of personality and the interesting shapes on the bodywork really do look cool. Deceptively small inside, 4 adults can sit in comfort, and 225 litres of boot space isn't bad at all. Not overly lavish inside, you'll find a functional dash and notable levels of plastic, but that doesn't mean it's ugly. Durable and comfortable, you also get a lot of bang for your buck in terms of equipment.

This is a car that drives exactly how you'd picture it to- like a go kart. it's very nimble and fleet of foot around town, and the sharp handling means tight bends or parking couldn't be easier. A smooth ride and masses of grip in the corners means you'll always have a smile on your face, plus it's big enough to venture onto country roads or even motorways and doesn't get overwhelmed.

If you're looking to get hold of this car for less, Motors.co.uk is by far the best place to look. Listing over 150,000 superb quality used cars for sale, it's pretty much an internet wonderland where you pay less and get more thanks to huge price reductions. A second hand Subaru Justy will be a brilliant bargain.

Overall, the Subaru sounds like one of the better small family hatchbacks out there. it's great to drive, cheap to run and has some wonderful designs. Relatively spacious and comfortable inside, the large boot makes it practical, and it'll be able to meet all your needs in and out of town. Have a look, you won't be disappointed.
