- Earlier 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine generated 109bhp and achieved an efficiency rating of around 45mpg.

Beyond the capability of the SX4 S-Cross, it's also a practical model, and is well-equipped to hold a family, offering plenty of comfort features.
Interior space- Driver's seat is supportive and is well elevated to offer a good view.
- Rear headroom is good except for very tall adults (available double sliding glass roof will cut down on the amount of space).
- Two ISOFIX mounting points for child seats are found on the outer rear seats.
- 430-litre boot is more than the Suzuki Vitara.
Rear seats can be reclined or set in an upright position to create an additional 10 litres of boot space.
