The Vauxhall Astra GTC was released in 2011 with upgraded styling over the conventional Astra lineup. With sharper lines, a wider grille and a more aggressive image, the Astra GTC was meant to turn heads. Even though it was a well-received model, the three-door Astra GTC was discontinued in 2018, while the seventh-gen Astra continued to be sold.

There were a variety of engine options with a used Astra GTC, with Vauxhall offering both petrol and diesel configurations, with a manual or automatic gearbox and standard front-wheel drive.
Petrol- 1.4-litre turbo outputs either 118bhp or 138bhp, offering a 0-62 mph time of 9.0 seconds, depending on the trim.
- 1.6-litre turbo produces 177bhp, getting the car to 60mph in 8.0 seconds, with improved overtaking ability.
- From 2014 onwards, the 1.6-litre engine increased output to 197bhp, making it the fastest non-VXR model from the Astra range.
- Astra GTC VXR model featured a 2.0-litre engine that generates 276bhp with a 5.8-second 0-60mph time.
- 1.6-litre generates between 108 and 134bhp, depending on the trim.
