The Vauxhall Meriva Design is positioned in the middle to upper levels of the trim scale and really does present a fantastic solution for family motoring. it's a small people carrier with plenty of personality, good all round practicality and a positive attitude. What you get is something that just works well and does exactly what it says on the box- providing an easy to use, practical and rewarding way to get around. Featuring strong safety and reliability scores too, there's clearly a lot to like about it, and engines range from 1.4 to 1.8 litre petrols, and 1.7 litre diesels.The Vauxhall Meriva Design looks great with its funky profile and pleasing front end, and the interior is just as likable. Nicely spacious, well put together and featuring some comfortable seats and room in the back for adults or kids, there's also 350 litres of boot space. The kit list includes the likes of air conditioning, alloy wheels, CD stereo, cloth seats, airbags, electric windows, driver assists, body coloured bumpers, front fog lights and remote locking. Getting behind the wheel is a good experience, and the Design handles well and has some sprightliness about it. Pay £6,000 used.
